How We Work with You
Conversation and Proposal
We always begin with understanding your business, your target audience, your internet marketing goals, and your desired branding and “look and feel.” After we gather this information from you, we send you a formal proposal that includes:
- a detailed site map, specifying site content and features
- details of other internet marketing services, such as email campaigns
- a preliminary “wire-frame” design, showing generally where the content and features will appear on the home page and on interior pages
- a flat price for site design and development, plus one year of updates and support
- optionally, a proposed yearly retainer fee for ongoing updates and support
Design Phase
We’ll get to work on a professional design that reflects your brand, and makes it simple for your customers to find what they need. You will receive this design as a series of “comps,” showing exactly what your pages will look like.
Development and Implementation
Once you approve the design, and send us some content, we’ll produce the site on our development server. We’ll show you what we’ve done, and you’ll be able to test it and make minor adjustments and tweaks before the site goes live. When you’re satisfied, we’ll take care of moving the site to its permanent location.
Training and Support
We’ll give you all the training you and your employees need to administer the site, including:
- adding, updating and deleting content,
- uploading photos and other kinds of files,
- managing site layout and presentation.
Of course, if you need something done and can’t do it yourself, we’re here to help.
